Janelle Crandell is an associate attorney with Goyette, Ruano & Thompson, a Sacramento-based labor and employment firm. She currently specializes in the representation of law enforcement and other public safety unions. Prior to that, Janelle was a Deputy District Attorney for the Amador County District Attorney’s Office. For thirteen years, she was the program manager and lead prosecutor of the Special Prosecutions Unit which specialized in workers’ compensation insurance fraud. Janelle received her Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. She holds a B.A. degree in Journalism from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Prior to her career with the Amador County District Attorney’s Office, Janelle practiced personal injury civil litigation for five years with a firm in Sacramento.
