Gary P. Seligman is a partner in the Insurance, Litigation, and Appellate practices of Wiley Rein LLP in Washington, DC. Mr. Seligman counsels and represents insurers in complex disputes arising under general liability, directors and officers, lawyers professional liability, and other professional liability coverages, in a variety of contexts at the trial and appellate court levels. He also regularly advises insurers in connection with the design and drafting of policy forms and manuscript endorsements. Mr. Seligman has been named a “Rising Star” in the insurance area by Law360. He is a former judicial clerk to the Honorable Ellsworth A. Van Graafeiland of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Mr. Seligman received his B.A. from Harvard College and J.D. from the Washington & Lee University School of Law, both magna cum laude.
