Bio

Paula Lowder is the Claims Consultant for the Colorado Special Districts Property, Liability, and Workers’ Compensation Pool as well as the Colorado Firefighter Heart and Cancer Benefits Trust. She works directly with Sedgwick Claims Management Services as an advocate representing the program members and administrator.

Ms. Lowder has over twenty five years of workers’ compensation claims experience, having worked previously as a senior claims examiner, claims supervisor, workers’ compensation manager, and as the branch manager for a claims administrator. Her area of expertise focuses on managing client relations and resolving both small and complex claims issues. She is based in Colorado Springs, CO.

Throughout her career, Ms. Lowder has been employed by Catholic Health Initiatives, Zurich NA, CCMSI, TRISTAR Risk Management, and most recently, AON. She is a current member of the Colorado Self Insured Association (CSIA) serving on the Legislative Committee, Colorado Public Risk Management Association (CO PRIMA), and Rocky Mountain Risk Management Society (RIMS).
