After serving in the Air Force as a medic, Steve worked as an emergency room LVN nurse. Gravitating towards injury and illness prevention, his work has focused on safety, risk management and ergonomics. He is the co-author of "Workplace Safety: A Guide for Small and Midsized Companies" and co-author of both safety and ergonomics chapters in Foundation for Optimal Productivity (DMEC) and Tools of the Trade (DMEC). He is co-author of "High-Payoff Selling: Being Visible and Viable in the New Insurance Market," which gives him a unique perspective on sales and the insurance industry. Steve heads up the safety and risk team for Aspen Risk Management Group, a TRISTAR company.
