Bio

Robert began his career in 2001, focusing on not-for-profit organizations for the first 7 years. He has been focused exclusively on the public entity sector since 2009 designing, negotiating and placing some of California’s most complex programs. A well rounded insurance professional, Robert has a high level of expertise with all lines of coverage, specifically – property, liability, law enforcement, cyber and executive lines. His clients are a diverse group of public entities – from single municipalities to large JPA’s. Some of his clients include the California Joint Powers Risk Management Authority (CJPRMA), The California Joint Powers Insurance Authority (CJPIA), The Association of California Water Agencies Joint Powers Insurance Authority (ACWA/JPIA) The County of Los Angeles, Los Angeles World Airports, City of Anaheim, City of Pasadena, City of North Las Vegas (NV), Las Vegas Valley Water District, San Antonio Water Systems, the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) and City of Portland. Robert loves rolling up his sleeves and simplifying the process for his clients, but more importantly he enjoys educating those in the Risk Management community on insurance requirements, limits and how to leverage. Robert was named a Power Broker by Risk & Insurance Magazine for the Public Entity Sector in February 2020.
