De Ann Wagner is Assistant Vice President, Client Services at Sedgwick. Ms. Wagner has worked in the industry since 1996 when she started her career with a dedicated third-party administrator for a California-based insurance company. De Ann has extensive knowledge of the various aspects of risk programs to include insured programs and self-insured programs with both public and private entities. She has had oversight of one of the largest municipal joint power authorities in California, a large special district pool in Colorado, a multi-state retail store chain, as well as several other municipalities and school districts. She has obtained her Self-insurance, Workers’ Compensation Claims Professional, and Associate in Risk Management certifications as well as her designation as an Experienced Claims Adjuster through the State of California. De Ann has served as a guest speaker at conferences and chapter meetings including, Public Agency Risk Managers Association (PARMA), the California Association of Joint Power Authorities (CAJPA), CWC Risk Conference, local chapter of RIMS, the California State University (CSU) Risk Education Conference, and the Southern California Chapter of PARMA.
