Jason McMahon has worked for 30+ years in municipal government for the cities of Lee’s Summit, Raytown, and Washington DC, with 15 of those years at Midwest Public Risk where he is the Risk Management Director. In that role he leads the risk management team while they work with members to minimize their risk through proactive actions and post incident investigation. His work in the digital world began as the SCADA tech for Lee’s Summit in the 90’s and has continued through his work at Midwest Public Risk where he wore the IT hat for his first dozen years there. Most of his examples are real word from his daily life working in the digital world.
