Description
Special events can expose a public entity to significant risk either directly or indirectly. These can include fund-raisers, graduations, golf tournaments, parades, concerts, air shows, fireworks, sporting/athletic events, political events, car shows, conferences, camps and film/TV productions. In this session, you’ll learn best practices for managing special events to reduce risk and liability. We discuss the keys for preparing for events, including insurance requirements, pre-planning protocols, crowd management and resource identification.
